This is replacing an Evoc Pro 3l hip pack, which worked great but felt bulky with the huge waist straps. I never use a bladder in the hip pack, so this Venture looked perfect. I was a little worried about the 2.2l vs 3.0l of the Evoc, but that was unwarranted. The flap strap adds flexibility on how to load up this bag and the Fidlock buckles are awesome. There’s also straps that are included for attaching a helmet. Great bag.

I bought this pack thinking I wouldn't use it all that often. Boy was I wrong. This pack has been my faithful companion throughout many long local rides, and accompanied me on a recent trip in the Swiss Alps. We got hit with unseasonably cold temperatures and rain throughout our trip, and the Supernatural kept the contents of the pack dry, and also allowed just enough room for multiple layers to keep me warm and dry from the snowy mountain tops to the sunny valleys.
The Supernatural has hit the mark for having just enough features and volume while being unobtrusive and stable on the back. It disappears while riding, and keeps your phone and snacks easily accessible, which came in very handy when on long rides on vacation, where I was reaching for the camera and energy snacks often, and also when at home when I'm balancing family texts while getting some time in the woods.
This pack is expensive, but I'm so glad I made the investment. The build quality is impeccable and I look forward to using it for years to come.

As a bike and gear enthusiast I was excited and eager to purchase the Supernatural when it was first launched and now after having it for many rides this season I feel confident to leave a review.

The bag is very well designed, so much so that it disappears into the background when I’m riding. No more jostling of bigger bags or floppy hip backs. The hiking/running bag style straps paired with dual straps keeps this locked in place on my back.

Outside of extreme this pack also offers great functionality. The dual front pockets are perfect for a phone, snacks, gels or other smaller items keeping your pockets free and the items easily accessible.

The inside of the pack offer ample organization and dedicated volume to stuff in an outer shell or layer for changes in weather.

I’ve tried numerous bags from an assortment of big brands and small makers and this has been my favorite pack to date. I’m very satisfied with this especially knowing these are hand made by solid human beings who care about a providing a solid product and also love riding bikes.

Awesome product. Just the right size for trailside repairs and essentials. Customer service is superb, quick and responsive. Love that it is made in USA! My prior pack from High Above was the Nexus. It lasted me 5 years and well over 25 thousand miles of mountain biking. Only just recently the zipper broke but the rest of the bag showed no signs of wear or failure.

This is THE bag for me. Not too big…and not too small. Zippered pocket, fidlock/ flap main (that’s slightly expandable if you really need to stuff it) and a few interior dividers. All together plenty for tools, spare parts, snacks, keys, wallet, phone, etc. Perfect for 1-3 water bottle type rides. (Or longer if you can re-fill along the way.)

And I love the fidlocks- both for the belt and for the main opening. Very secure, yet easy to open and close. They’re very nice to have, especially when your hands and fingers are tired from riding. And I really like the velcro strap retention things on both sides to hold the excess straps after you cinch the belt down. It holds the excess in place and doesn’t come undone to where the straps end up flapping around. Awesome!

It’s also very comfortable/ disappears when riding, even with one bottle. On my first ride, I got distracted and had to reach back to feel that it was still there. (For a second I thought I accidentally left it home.) But it was there- It’s just that comfortable!

Overall, it’s pretty obvious the designers actually ride. If I had to design and refine a bag over a long period of time- this is it! Well made, well thought out, last long time/ premium bag!

Love this pack. Fits my phone, med supplies, bike tool, snacks, small camera, and my lift pass for the mountain. It’s tough. It’s stylish. +5 steeze points. It survived a pretty serious OTB crash this weekend and not a scratch or tear.

I have two of the Lookout hippacks and they are the best packs I have ever used. I live in NC and it gets super hot here in the summer so using a hippack is much cooler than a backpack. I have used so many different products over the years and these two packs are by far the best. I never need to adjust them on my ride and having two fidloc attachments on either side of the bag is so easy to use - you never need to search for a pocket to put you water bottle back. I have had one pack for over 5 years and ride a lot...it has not had one issue, it is the most bulletproof bag I have by far. It is amazing how much (stuff) you can pack in it as well. 8 years ago I purchased my first High Above hip pack (aka Fanny pack down here in NZ). It was a bold statement in the scene at the time and one that I claimed as a game changer. The Cascadia of its era was no frills, one zip, big compartment with a couple wee internal stash pockets and a key cord. It was uncanny that everything awesome that I seemingly needed to stuff in it JC had thought of. Large 240mm fold out saw? Yup. Enough beer to ensure an enjoyable evening yet safe ride home? Yup. An entire bottle of Glenfiddich? Of course. Through many a back country mission and enduro race the Cascadia did exactly what it needed to, carry my crap and don’t break. Pretty sure I even used it to hold a broken backpack together for an adventure one day. About 2 years ago I had to chain lube the zip because muds just not a great lube apparently. Other than that my Cascadia and smaller Das Rad packs have been bomb proof and even though I don’t need another one…..does one ever have to many hip packs?!

The lookout bag has been the trustiest hip pack for 4+ years! It’s high quality, waterproof, and the perfect size to fit a layer and plenty of snacks. I look forward to many more years of riding with the lookout!

The 3d hip pack is Awesome!.super comfortable.Stays put through tech,jump lines.Roomy.I can fit my hand pump tube,Bear grills knife! Tools food,phone,etc with still more room to spare.Mud cleans off EZ!

This is a gift for my BF who has been stalking the site for over a year, he is going to LOVE it for his long rides In the Oakland hills. The extra space for snacks and layers and water is exactly what he needs.

Awesome pack! Very well constructed, and thought out. Unfortunately it was a little bit too big for my needs.
