What a ride it’s been.

High Above started ten years ago with the sole intention of making great stuff. We were inspired by the golden age of pack design between the 1960’s and the mid-90’s. Packs then were simple and robust. Designs were elegant and use-forward, with an eye considering increasingly expensive domestic manufacturing.

So what does this have to do with a shirt? We searched high above and low below to find a quality US-made shirt, with absolutely no regard to cost. 

We discovered this beautiful organic cotton/hemp blend that at 4.3 oz/ yard is versatile and durable.

We then teamed up with Spacecraft to screen print our ten year mission patch graphic with water-based inks. This type of ink feels and wears better than the typical plastisol you’re accustomed to, but is far more expensive. This shirt wears in, not out- getting more comfortable with age.
